How To Maintain a Healthy Scalp

Active Care is known for creating products that help solve various scalp-problems by implementing the exceptional properties of plants with the most effective active ingredients, in order to restore the health and beauty of the scalp and hair. The range of Active Care hair products is divided into two professional in-salon treatments and four at-home treatments that are based on the client’s scalp problems. The four at-home regimens include the lines Active, Balance, Comfort, and Deep-Cleansing that target scalp problems including thinning hair, excess sebum production, irritation, and flakes. Today we will discuss the reason for each step and product in the Active Care treatments, and how to properly use them.

First Step - Booster

The booster was designed to prepare the hair to be regenerated in-depth and activates the cells in order for the remaining care to be accelerated and intensified.

Instructions of use:

• Shake well to activate the product.
• Use 2 pipettes in the evening one to three times a week for at least 2 months.
• Use the pipette to take the product out of the bottle.
• Starting in the middle of the head and move from the front to back. Use the pipette to divide the hair and release a drop every inch or so.
• Distribute the booster evenly for optimal penetration.
• Move to the left or right side of the head. Use the pipette to divide the hair and apply a drop every inch.
• Repeat on the opposite side of the head.
• Using your hands, softly massage the head, spreading your fingers to touch every area of the scalp. Add a little pressure to ensure the scalp moves with your fingers in a circular motion,
• After the massage, gently brush the hair. 

Second Step - Serum

The Serum prepares the hair for the washing step, the scalp is stimulated and re-balanced and it restores moisture and vitality.

Instructions of use:

• Shake well to activate.
• Use the pipette to take the product out of the bottle.
• Starting in the middle of the head and moving from front to back, use the pipette to divide the hair and release a drop every inch.
• Move to the left or right side of the head. Use the pipette to divide the hair and apply a drop every 1-2 inches.
• Repeat on the opposite side of the head.
• Using your hands, softly massage the head, spreading your fingers to touch every area of the scalp. Add a little pressure to ensure the scalp moves with your fingers in a circular motion.
• Wash your hair with the specified Shampoo.
• Use 2 to 3 pipettes before shampoo and leave in 15-20 minutes one to three times a week for at least 2 months.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after use.

Third Step - Shampoo 

The Shampoo gently cleans the scalp and boosts the efficiency of the lotions, the hair is prepared and the scalp cleaned.

Instructions of use:

• Dampen your hair with lukewarm water.
• Apply about half an inch wide dollop of shampoo over the scalp and massage lightly in a circular motion.
• Rinse your hair and scalp with cool water to stimulate blood circulation.
• Repeat if necessary.
• Gently towel dry the hair.
• Use once a week or daily depending on your scalp for at least 2 months.
• Recommended to use with Serum and Lotion.

Fourth Step - Lotion 

The Lotion intensely treats the scalp problem by stimulating and rebalancing the scalp as it is formulated with plant extracts and active ingredients.

 Instructions of use:

• Starting in the middle of the head and moving from front to back, use the nozzle to divide the hair and spray the lotion every 2 inches.
• Move to the left or right side of the head.
• Apply directly at the root area to cover the scalp and gently massage for one minute.
• Apply on dry or damp hair once or twice a day for at least 2 months.
• Nozzle provides easy, targeted application.
• Do not rinse.
• Comb through hair and style as usual.
